BCNM 2025 – Celebrating Excellence in Nuclear Medicine

We are thrilled that BCNM 2025, recognized the most outstanding research with prestigious awards for presented abstracts!

Awards for Outstanding Abstracts

❉ 3 Regional Awards

The authors of the three best abstracts will receive an educational grant
·Authors of the abstracts need to be under or at the age of 38 and need to reside in Balkan countries.
·More details will be announced during the congress.

For the abstract  entitled: "COGNITIVE, BEHAVIORAL, AND BRAIN PERFUSION CORRELATES  OF FUNCTIONAL IMPAIRMENT IN THE BEHAVIORAL VARIANT OF  FRONTOTEMPORAL DEMENTIA (bvFTD)"

 

❉ “Nikos Karkavitsas” Award

HSNM&MI will award a Greek young Nuclear Medicine physician (under or at the age of 38), for the best research abstract.
Prize details:
· Free registration to the next Panhellenic Congress of Nuclear Medicine (2027)
· 500 EUR grant

❉ Best Theragnostics Award

Oncidium Foundation will award best Theragnostics abstract.
Prize Details:
· Free registration to the 8th Theranostics World Congress, January 29 to February 1, 2026
· Up to 2,000 EUR travel grant to support participation in Cape Town

For the abstract entitled: "FDG PET/CT BASED RADIOMIC AND METABOLIC PARAMETER ANALYSIS IN GASTRIC CANCER: PROGNOSTIC PREDICTIVE POWER"

 

❉ 2 Student Awards

HSNM&MI will award 2 Greek students with “Congress package” in order to participate in the major Nuclear Medicine scientific event (EANM congress) in Barcelona, October 4-8, 2025.
Prize Details:
· A free registration to the EANM Congress
· Coverage of travel and housing costs

*The student awards will be granted based on the most active participation and highest attendance, as determined by the organizing & scientific committee.

❉ 1 WFNMB (World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology) Award

Prize Details:
· Free registration to the World Congress 2026.
· Invitation to the closing ceremony as special guests in Cartagena 2026.
